About the Artist
I have always had an interest for art. Ever since I was little I loved to draw, and even paint. I grew up going to my grandmother's house every Summer, and she would always be painting. I would see her painting at the table and always come over to see what she's up to. Then as time went on I got more and more interested. The more interested I became, the more I started to ask questions and she taught me how the paints work. Then everyday when I came up there to see her, we would paint. She taught me techniques she knew, and I began to learn her ways. That became my most favorite thing to do and I began to love it more and more as time went on.
Ever since then, I have had a very strong place for art in my heart. Especially since it's because of my grandmother that I became so interested. I did it whenever I had free time. Whether it would be in the middle of class and I would be doodling in my notebook. When I got home and had nothing else to do I would pick up a pencil, or crayon, or whatever I had available to me and just draw whatever I felt like drawing at the time. However, I'm not a very big drawer much anymore. I prefer to work with paints, but it's still something that I enjoy doing every once in a while. When I have nothing else to do it keeps me busy and occupied. It always has been a big part of my life, and I can see it to continue to be that way. Now I'm beginning to want to explore photography. The more that time goes on the more I find it interesting and something that I really want to look into. Since I was little I always took pictures of the lake, and other scenery that I thought was beautiful. I still do once in a while, and I'v gotten really interested.
